A Walk Down History Lane

This is where it all began. Our school presented us many opportunities. But, WE made the choice to become the next New York City Junior Ambassadors. But soon enough it would be our greatest choice.

Culminating Ceremony

Ambassador Gillian Bird, the representer for Australia in the United Nations came to our school! We asked questions about her life, how being a woman affected what she could do, and her job at the UN.

17 deaths is too much for crying. We did a school walkout to honor the 17 kids that had died in the Parkland Shooting. School Shootings are a nationwide issue that needs to be resolved.

Myanmar is in Crisis and its up to us to bring a fix to it. In ICS#4 we did a stimulation in which we represented different countries of the UN security council discussing the issues revolving around the Rohingya Genocide and voted on a solution we preferred.

We need to be more positive to others. We have to be there for each other and support each other when we are down. The Peer Positivity Party supports this.

We visted the United Nations for the first time getting to see the inside of where the most important discussions take place. As well as learn more about what they do and why the NYCJA program exist in the first place.

While learning about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 we participated in a scavenger hunt that helped us learn more about each one. A race to see who would be the SDG winner.(Boys were victorious).

We found out the hard work the United Nations put into their duty. Our first activity was to Create Our Own UN. But trust me, we have it way easier. It's truly amazing the United Nations ability to work with others and come up with plans in unity.
